Braskem PN2021 EVA Foam Copolymer  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Ethylene Vinyl Acetate

Material Notes: PN2021 is an Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) copolymer mainly used for the production of crosslinked/expanded plates and other parts. It is a product with easy processability and high compatibility with mineral fillers and other thermoplastics and elastomers. Other important characteristics are elasticity, flexibility, excellent stress cracking resistance (ESCR), chemical resistance, and low temperature strength. The exclusive morphologic characteristics give crosslinkability. The components produced with PN2021 have the following properties: lightness, resistance to deformation, low shrink, high capacity of sticking, and retention of colors. It contains antioxidant additives. Its applications include: shoe components (soles, insoles, etc.); expanded and/or cross linked artifacts for toys, games, floats, advertising, and office materials; tubing and profiles; and polymeric blends.
