Material Notes: STYRON 8100 MFD high impact polystyrene is designed for microfloppy diskettes (MFD) applications. It offers easy processing, coloring, abrasion resistance, impact strength, and high heat resistance. When used unmodified for the manufacture of food contact articles STYRON 8100 MFD complies with the US Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and Food Additive Regulations 21 CFR 177.1640. The regulations should be consulted for complete details.
