Material Notes: Properties and applications: ACEMATT OK 500 is a fine-grained wax after-treated precipitated silica, which is suitable for pigmented as well as non-pigmented systems and due to the excellent suspension behavior particularly applicable in clear coatings. Films with superior surface smoothness are obtained. The physical properties of ACEMATT OK 500 make it an all-purpose matting agent. In cases where extended drying times are observed using ACEMATT OK 412, we would recommend ACEMATT OK 500 as a substitute.
