Master Bond MasterSil 705C Non-Corrosive Silicone with Carbon Filler
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Silicone

Material Notes: Description: Master Bond MasterSil 705C is an electrically conductive, one component, non-corrosive, carbon filled silicone for bonding, sealing and coating. This black colored paste like system cures readily at ambient temperatures upon exposure to humidity; the higher the level, the faster the rate of cure. MasterSil 705C has good electrical conductivity and is used primarily in applications involving static dissipation or EMI-RFI shielding. MasterSil 705C is also used when an electrically conductive system that is non-metallic is required. It retains typical silicone type flexibility and high temperature resistance. It is serviceable over the wide temperature range of -75°F to +400°F. MasterSil 705C will bond well to a wide variety of substrates including other silicone materials, particularly gasket materials. It is most effective when applied in thin sections. Another highly desirable property is a very fast tack free time of 3-7 minutes depending upon humidity.
