Laurel BioComposite Bio-Res™ 20% Composite in HDPE

Material Notes: Bio-Res™ can be blended with various resins in certain applications. It can be included at rates up to 40% in manufactured plastic products while maintaining or enhancing the desired characteristics of the end product. Bio-Res is created from a bio-based feedstock, initially distillers grains, a by-product of the ethanol process. The feedstock undergoes a proprietary process which creates a product for inclusion in thermoplastics. Bio-Res can be delivered as a fine powder or in pellet form.

Data is for a 20% filler loading on injection molded HDPE samples.
