Wacker Belsil® CM 3092 Cyclopentasiloxane -Dimethiconol Blend
Categories: Fluid; Polymer

Material Notes: BELSIL® CM 3092 is a blend of cyclopentasiloxane and a high-molecular dimethiconol. Due to its composition, it combines the properties of the low viscosity, volatile cyclopentasiloxane and the extremely high-viscosity dimethiconol. The excellent spreading of cyclopentasiloxane allows a good distribution of the high-viscosity conditioning agent dimethiconol.

Application: BELSIL® CM 3092 is used in hair-care and in skincare applications. Skin-care and skin-protection preparations containing BELSIL® CM 3092 impart a pleasant, supple feel to skin; it facilitates the distribution of the formulations and improves skin elasticity. At the same time, it forms a water-resistant but breathable protective barrier. This provides good substantivity and fixation of active ingredients. Use of BELSIL® CM 3092 in hair-care products yields sleek, shiny hair. Damaged hair regains a natural, healthy appearance. Wet and dry combability are improved, and further damage to the hair cuticles is prevented. It is also widely used in hair-tip fluids.

INCI name: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol
