Material Notes: Characterization: This is a semi-rigid polyurethane foam system composed of Bayfill 53IF40 U polyol blend and Desmodur® 58IF07 M polyisocyanate.

Properties / Applications: This is a semi-rigid polyurethane foam system composed of Bayfill 53IF40 U polyol blend and Desmodur® 58IF07 M polyisocyanate. It is used in the production of soft-touch panels, such as automotive instrument panels. The foam system is supplied as two liquid components. Component A, Desmodur 58IF07 M, is a polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate product. Component B , Bayfill 53IF40 U, is a formulated polyether polyol blend. As with any product, use of Bayfill 53IF40 U system in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
