Material Notes: Description: Rare, light and fragile with tabular or columnar crystals. A monoclinic mineral with a framework silicate structure. Its color is creamy to white and sometimes to more rarely pinkish. It has a thermal expansion coefficient lower than almost any other inorganic or organic filler. An important ore of lithium. Used as a lithium addition glasses and porcelain enamels.
