Material Notes: Alloy HP9-4-20 is a premium quality low alloy steel filler metal for use with the gas tungsten arc and gas metal arc welding processes. Alloy HP9-4-20 is designed to weld those low-alloy steels having compositions similar to that of this wire and requiring a combination of high strength and high notch toughness without the need for post-weld heat treatment.
