Obtainable in large sizes Usual surface texture: Coarse Dimensional changes when dried lumber is subjected to variations in humidity during service: Large Resistance to fungal decay (Heartwood in ground contact): Very Durable (Over 25 years) Resistance to penetration by preservatives: Extremely resistant Common Applications: Heavy construction, marine and freshwater construction. Bridges, sleepers, etc.
