| The Tritheva® PN 2021 resin is an Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate copolymer (EVA) mainly used for the production of crosslinked/expanded plates and other parts. This is an easy processing product with high compatibility with mineral fillers, other thermoplastic and elastomeric resins. Other important characteristics are elasticity, flexibility, excellent stress cracking resistance (ESCR), chemical resistance, and low temperature strength. The homogeneous morphology gives an outstanding crosslinkability for this resin, allowing for cost reduction by lower use of crosslinking agents and/or lower crosslinking time. The compounds obtained from the resin Tritheva® PN 2021 have the following properties: lightness, resistance to deformation, low shrink, high capacity of cementing and retention of colors. Applications: Shoe components such as soles, insoles, etc. Other expanded and/or crosslinked parts for several applications. Tubing and profiles. Polymeric blends and asphalt compounds.
