| CHR® K290ESD is manufactured from polyimide film with high-temperature silicone adhesive. Features/Benefits: CHR® K290ESD has excellent electrostatic discharge properties—the ESD additive reducing the electrostatic discharge that occurs upon tape removal. CHR® K290ESD can safely and cleanly be removed from printed circuit boards. The proprietary adhesive system provides high electrostatic dissipation without sacrificing adhesive strength at extreme temperatures. CHR® K290ESD offers excellent mechanical and electrical properties, an excellent dielectric strength and high conformability. Applications: CHR® K290ESD is constructed to fill the requirements of a high performance Thermoplastic (Polyimide Backing Materials). CHR® K290ESD is chosen for gold finger protection during wave solder applications that require reduced electrostatic discharge upon tape removal.
