The EPDM coated aramid fabric combines the following properties: EPDM has very good resistance to weather, heat, cold, ozone, aging, acids, polar solvents. In addition, it has good dielectric strength. Flame spread is low. Limitations: EPDM has low resistance to fuels, chlorinated, aromatic or aliphatic solvents, petroleum derivatives and oils. Low fire resistance. Aramid is a long-chain polyamide fiber containing amides and aromatic elements. Infusible, does not melt, does not burn, does not soften, low toxic gas emissions. Some aramids can decompose around 500°C, thermostable up to 250°C. Applications: - High temperature filtration
- Clothing fire protection
- Bullet proof vest
- Thermo industry, electric and electronic
- Aerospace industry, Pipes for the automotive industry and oil, seals for car engines
- Conveyor belts
- Air chambers
Properties: - Heat resistant
- Fireproofed
- Acids resistance
- Non-skid
- UV resistance
- Water storage
- Ozone Resistance
- Isolation to radiation
