Master Bond EP30-4 Fast Curing Non-Yellowing Two Component Epoxy System
Categories: Polymer; Adhesive; Thermoset; Epoxy; Epoxy Adhesive

Material Notes: Key Features:
  • Low viscosity
  • Fast curing, even in thin sections
  • Optically clear
  • Superior non-yellowing properties
  • Low shrinkage upon cure
  • High bond strength
Product Description: Master Bond EP30-4 is an optically clear, two component epoxy system for high performance bonding, coating, sealing and casting. It is formulated to cure rapidly at room temperature and the cure can be accelerated with heat. It has an easy to use two to one mix ratio by weight. EP30-4 does not contain any solvents or other volatiles. It is especially recommended in applications where rapid curing and limited fixturing time are paramount. In most cases fixtures can be removed in 5-10 minutes. Some other desirable features include peerless optical clarity, superior non-yellowing properties and low viscosity for easy application. EP30-4 is a good adhesive and bonds well to a variety of substrates including metals, composites, ceramics, glass and many rubbers and plastics. It offers superb electrical insulation properties and can be used for small castings and pottings. This system features good chemical resistance to water, oils and fuels. The color of Parts A and B is clear. It is serviceable over the wide temperature range of -60°F to +250°F. It is also noteworthy for lower linear shrinkage upon curing. EP30-4 can be used in electronic, fiber-optic, optical, specialty OEM and related industrial applications especially where thinner sections of epoxy need to cure rapidly without adding heat or limited fixturing time is available.

Product Advantages:

  • Convenient mixing: easy to use mix ratio, two to one by weight
  • Very fast curing, even in thin sections enabling rapid fixturing time
  • Excellent optical clarity, superior non-yellowing
  • Good bond strength to a wide variety of substrates
  • Lower viscosity with good electrical insulation properties; excellent potting epoxy for small castings
  • Lower shrinkage upon cure
