Master Bond EP30-D10 Abrasion Resistant, Flexible Adhesive Compound
Categories: Polymer; Adhesive; Thermoset; Epoxy; Epoxy Adhesive

Material Notes: Description: Master Bond Polymer System EP30-D10 is a versatile two component, abrasion resistant elastomer featuring superior strength, toughness and chemical resistance for high performance bonding, sealing, casting and encapsulation. It combines the performance characteristics of epoxy resins such as strength, chemical resistance, and adhesive qualities, with those of the polyurethanes including toughness, abrasion resistance and flexibility. In addition, EP30D10 has been used successfully in a number of different cryogenic applications. Master Bond Polymer System EP30D-10 is formulated to cure at room temperature or more rapidly at elevated temperatures. Master Bond Polymer System EP30D-10 is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents. The Master Bond EP30D-10 system cures with minimal shrinkage to a durable, high strength, tough elastomer with good resistance to thermal cycling and chemicals including water, inorganic salts, alkalis and acids. It has an wide service temperature range of 4K to 220°F. Adhesion to metals, concrete, glass, ceramics, wood, vulcanized rubbers and many plastics is excellent. Color of part A is clear, part B is also clear. Master Bond Polymer System EP30D-10 is widely used in cryogenic, optical, electronic and aerospace applications both for original components and maintenance/repair. A non-drip version (amber colored) called EP30D-10ND is also available.

Product Advantages:

  • Long working life.
  • Versatile cure schedules; ambient temperature cures or fast cures at elevated temperatures as required.
  • High bonding strength to similar and dissimilar substrates including metals, rubbers, ceramics.
  • High impact strength, fatigue resistance and flexibility.
