| Product Information: Grade Rubaloy - 50 is a 50:50 ratio fluxed blend of NBR/PVC using medium NBR and pretreated PVC resin. Special Polymeric Plasticizers and Additives are incorporated to improve hot air ageing and flex crack. These polymeric plasticizers also help to preserve the product flexibility in service life. Rubaloy – 50 will blend easily with Nitrile Rubber to increase the Nitrile Rubber percentage ratio if required in the compound; in order to produce a tailor-made ratio of NBR/PVC by the user. Processing Characteristics: Rubaloy – 50 is to be processed on conventional open mixing mills and internal mixers. The user can easily change the Nitrile ratio in the blend since Rubaloy – 50 blends easily with Nitrile Rubber on conventional Rubber mixing machines. For best result it is recommended that the mixing machine be kept hot during compounding stage for a quicker and a better homogenous compound. Rubaloy is designed to withstand higher compounding temperatures. Curing: Standard Sulphur and Peroxide curing systems should be used for vulcanization. Since NBR/PVC is slow curing. the accelerator dosage should be appropriately increased. Applications: Rubaloy – 50 is highly recommended for products requiring very high ozone and oil resistance. Also, recommended for non-black/colored compounds due to its excellent colour fastness. Extruded profiles and products will give a smooth, sharp and glossy finish.
