Rubaloy Rubaloy L 7360 NBR / PVC
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes: Product Information: Rubaloy L 7360 is a non-staining, oil, ozone, abrasion, weather and flex resistant polymer using low (28%) Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber and a special grade of Poly Vinyl Chloride Resin Blend which can easily withstand low temperatures of upto -45°C. This grade offers excellent rubber- to- metal bonding.

Processing Characteristics: Easily processable on conventional Rubber processing / compounding Machines. Very good filler and plasticizer absorption makes compounding cycle quick, cost saving and labour saving. Warm mixing mill compounding is recommended for best results. It can easily withstand elevated compounding temperatures. Recommended plasticizers are DOA, DOS, TCR, and other Aromatic Plasticizers. Paraffinic based softeners are not recommended.

Applications: Low Temperature flex resistant products, Gasoline Tubings and Hose Covers, Conveyor Belt covers, LPG Tubing, Auto Parts, Gaskets, Oil Seals, Oil Resistant and antistatic Shoe Soles, Rubber Sheets and Extruded Rubber Parts, Textile Cots, Aprons, Industrial Textile and Printing Rolls, Expanded Sheets for insulation, Auto weather strips etc.

Advantages over regular NBR/PVC 70:30 Blends :

  • Excellent low temperature flex properties upto - 45°C.
  • Excellent processability.
  • Improved compression set.
  • Controlled swelling.
  • Excellent rubber-metal bonding.
