Rubaloy Rubaloy 8020 NBR / PVC
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes: Product Information: Rubaloy – 8020 is a unique blend of Nitrile Rubber with a very low percentage of PVC, Plasticizers, Specialty Stabilizers, Anti-Oxidants, Anti-Static agents, etc. With low PVC, Rubaloy – 8020 behaves and processes almost exactly like NBR except it has superior compound properties as compared to medium NBR. Handling, cutting and weighting of NBR is easy as it comes in sheets, thus saving on time, cost and labour.

Processing Characteristics: Rubaloy - 8020 can be easily processed on conventional rubber mixing / compounding machines. It has excellent filler and plasticizer absorption properties and can withstand elevated compounding temperatures.

Curing: Sulphur or peroxide curing is recommended. Rubaloy - 8020 has improved curing properties as compared to other similar polymers.

Applications: Rubaloy - 8020 replace medium Nitrile in almost all applications with superior oil and ozone resistance.
