The pigments of the STANDART® Resist series are designed for the use in liquid and powder coatings and plastics equally suitable and convincing due to their hiding power and high color intensity. Standart Resist pigments consist of a metallic core, which is uniformly covered with a dense silica layer. This protective layer causes among other things an increased heat resistance and color consistency compared to uncoated gold bronze pigments. In the powder coating industry Stanart Resist is mainly used for interior applications. In outdoor applications and where high demands are made on chemical resistance overcoating with a protective clear lacquer is recommended.
