Vinnolit® MP 6852 PVC for Paste Making
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Vinyl (PVC)

Material Notes: Vinnolit® MP 6852 PVC for paste making. Vinnolit® MP 6852 is a fine particle size, low/medium molecular weight PVC homopolymer with a low/medium emulsifier content. It produces plastisols exhibiting low viscosity at both low and high shear rates with essentially Newtonian flow characteristics with low plasticizer levels (40 - 60 phr). Vinnolit® MP 6852 has been developed for low plasticizer/high filler level spread coatings, especially chemically blown foam coats for cushioned vinyl flooring, wall coverings and synthetic leather, where a fine cell structure is required. It exhibits generally excellent gelation/fusion rates and gives good thermal/light stability with a wide range of stabilizers. The use of high speed type mixers is recommended.

Information provided by Vinnolit.
