Silicone coated aramid fabric combines the following properties: Silicone has excellent dielectric properties. Excellent resistance to heat, cold, chemicals, ozone, UV and aging. Silicone is non-stick, neutral and non-toxic (it does not corrode or corrode the products with which it is in contact). Limitations: contact with petroleum derivatives, ketones, chlorinated, aliphatic or aromatic solvents, concentrated mineral acids. Low mechanical properties. Aramid is a fiber consisting of a long polyamide chain, containing amides and aromatic elements. Infusible, does not melt, does not burn, does not soften, low toxic gas emissions. Some aramids can decompose around 500°C, thermostable up to 250°C. Contact our engineering department to define your silicone coated aramid fabric. Applications: - High temperature filtration
