Winco XR Special’s high physical properties and the fact that it can be heat treated by use of several different methods, resulting in different ranges of hardness, make it the perfect choice as a long lasting steel in may applications.

    Advantages:
  • Pre-hardened steel with hardness range for many tool room and maintenance applications.
  • Can be re-hardened to various hardness ranges by flame hardening, carburizing, nitriding or through hardening to a higher hardness range.
  • All melts of Winco XR Special are electric furnace, vacuum degassed to provide optimum cleanliness of the finished product.
