Danquinsa DANCOLL® 250-63 Polyether based polyurethane prepolymer
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyurethane, TP; Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPUR), Polyether Grade

Material Notes: DANCOLL® 250-63 is a polyether based polyurethane prepolymer with blocked isocyanate. This solvent-based prepolymer is mainly used as basic raw material for flock adhesives and laminating adhesives.

Application: DANCOLL® 250-63 is an optimum basic raw material for the production of flock adhesives. It are mainly flocked EPDM, SBR and other rubber profiles by means of polyester- and polyamide flock. For the crosslinking and achieving of the application viscosity the product must be crosslinked with a corresponding DANCURE crosslinker. Suggested formulation for classic flock adhesives DANCOLL® 250-63 78,0 weights by part DANCURE® 120 62,0 weights by part After the blending of both components the pot life of the blend will be 2-3 days at room temperature. The crosslinking of the blend occurs at 150°C in a time period of 2,5 minutes. The higher the temperature the faster the crosslinking will occur. By adjustment of the temperature and speed at the pass through the drying cabinet (crosslinking oven) the desired reaction can be chosen.
