| Mfinity™ S8300-PETX-TR is produced from 100% post-consumer PET beverage containers that are washed, ground into flakes, washed again and decontaminated through a solid-state polycondensation and pelletizing process under conditions dictated by the Letter of Non-Objection (LNO) issued by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) to the OEM of the de-contamination equipment. The color of the product is transparent/clear. The LNO states that providing post-consumer PET produced in accordance with the terms and conditions of the LNO, the FDA does not object to such post-consumer PET being used to manufacture plastics food packaging for applications where the food is in direct contact with the post-consumer PET package.
