| Water-based print receptive primer for water-based and UV inks. Michem® Flex R1924 can be applied via gravure, flexo and other coating methods. A corona treatment of the surface is recommended before applying the coating. A coat weight of 0.4 gsm dry is recommended. The product needs to be dried using hot air. Usage: An environmentally friendly primer that promotes print receptivity and adhesion of water-based and UV cured inks and coatings used in printing flexible packaging and labels. It improves ink adhesion on a variety of substrate materials including plastic film, paper, and foil. Applications (properties imparted): Functional Coatings (rub resistance, water resistance, print receptivity.) Handling: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation.
