Rogers Corporation R/bak® SS Cushion Mounting Materials, Supported Soft
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS; Thermoset Polyurethane Foam, Unreinforced

Material Notes: R/bak® materials are high-density, open cell, polyurethane foams used to build thickness on the cylinder, provide cushioning and absorb vibration in the Flexographic printing process. The use of R/bak cushioning materials results in uniform quality printing over long run conditions. R/bak materials are available in a variety of length and thickness configurations.

R/bak SF and R/bak SS materials have an integrated polyester support layer to ensure dimensional stability and serve as a mounting base. R/bak U material is designed without the polyester support layer, and is recommended for cylinder build-up and spot cushioning. R/bak U1A is recommended for cylinder build-up, spot cushioning and spot coating applications for higher print quality.
