Lubrizol Pearlbond™ 360 Thermoplastic Polyurethane
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyurethane, TP

Material Notes: Type: Pearlbond™ 360 is polyether based thermoplastic polyurethane, supplied in form of translucent pellets. Featuring low melting point and excellent transparency. This product offers excellent flexibility and elasticity, hydrolysis and chemical resistance, high breathability and easy processing. Very low hardness with low activation temperature to avoid damage the substrates. High resistance to microbial attack.

Uses: Hot melt adhesive, powder, film

Applications: Pearlbond™ 360 can be used for making heat-sealable fabrics (thermobonding), obtained by coating processes such as scattering or dot-coating (powder or paste). In all cases, the product is previously ground into powder, by cryogenic grinding. The particle size of the powder will depend on the application technique to be used.
