Graft Polymer GRAFTABOND™ PPC-GMA 02030 C Polypropylene grafted with Glycidyl Methacrylate
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polypropylene (PP)

Material Notes: GRAFTABOND™ PPC-GMA 02030 C is a high performance glycidyl methacrylate functioned polypropylene. The high degree of grafting adds polarity to PP matrices, which greatly improves compatibility of PP with glass reinforcements, natural and inorganic fillers. GRAFTABOND PPC-GMA functions well even at lower treat levels, so it does not disrupt the optimal application properties of the base material.

Applications:

  • GRAFTABOND™ PPC-GMA 02030 C functions as a coupling agent between reinforcing materials (glass fibers, natural and inorganic fillers) and polypropylene
  • Compatibility of polypropylene and polyamide alloys
  • Compatibility between polyolefin and polar polymers, that interact with maleic anhydride for alloying, recycling or co-extrusion purposes
  • Increased adhesion properties of polypropylene to metal surfaces
Supplied as: Granulate.

Properties can be regulated to customer needs.
