Chesterton ARC 5ES Rapid Repair Adhesive Stick
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Epoxy

Material Notes: ARC 5ES is specifically formulated for quick reliable repairs. Its “stick” design combines the performance of a two component system with the convenience of a single component. The ARC 5ES is kneaded by hand to mix the components, which are then simply applied to the surface to be repaired. The 5ES hardens in 5-7 minutes and cures to full strength in 30 minutes. Its putty like consistency and moisture insensitive chemistry resist washout when repairing leaks. Cures under water, bonds to wet surfaces, 100% solids, non-shrinking.

Benefits:

  • Once cured, seals 3 mm (1/8”) leaks up to seven atmospheres (100 psi).
  • Putty like viscosity resist washout when sealing leaks
  • Bonds and cures under water
  • Tough resin structure resists thermal mechanical shock
  • Labor and down time are reduced due to ease of use and rapid curing
  • Convenient packaging is easily carried in pocket or tool box
  • Color change verifies complete mix
