Solvay HTM® 60 Epoxy; HTM60-CF2518-283g/m2-T800 6K 5H satin
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Epoxy

Material Notes: Property data for HTM60-CF2518-283g/m2-T800 6K 5H satin; Cure: 2 hrs at 180° (356°F), 6.2 bar (90 psi)

HTM60 is a 180°C (356°F) curing epoxy matrix resin developed for component manufacture where very high temperature resistance is required. After suitable post-cure, HTM60 offers a maximum Tg of 230°C (446°F) and retains a Tg of 155°C (311°F) under wet conditions. HTM60 will adhere to Nomex honeycomb without the need for an additional adhesive film. HTM60 is particularly suitable for high temperature structural and bodywork applications in the motorsport industry.

Features & Benefits:

  • 28 days tack life at 21°C (70°F)
  • 12 months storage at -18°C (0°F)
  • Cure 2 hrs at 180°C (356°F)
  • Readily bonds to Nomex honeycomb
  • Maximum Tg 230°C (446°F) after a suitable post-cure
  • Maximum operating temperature 205°C (401°F) dry and 155°C (311°F) wet
  • In excess of 50% property retention at 200°C (392°F)
