Material Notes: LACOVYL RB 8010 M is a low molecular weight vinyl chloride homopolymer.

Its characteristics are :

  • Viscosity index (ISO 1628-2):790ml/g,(K value:57). Apparent density (ISO 60°:0.61 g/ml.

  • ease of fusion and good flow characteristics in the molten state facilitating low temperature processing.

  • good porosity and high apparent density providing high productivity in compound mixers and extruders.

  • high level of purity due to the mass polymerization process giving finished products of very good transparency.

  • a narrow range of particle size distribution.

* RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS Provides finished products of high transparency, good gloss and free from fish eyes by :

  • calendering and extrusion of rigid sheets and films.
  • extrusion and injection blow-molding of bottles.
  • Injection molding of rigid parts
  • Extrusion of small rigid profiles and monofilaments
  • Production of powder coatings by the fluidization method.
  • Molding of gramophone records (Addition resin).
