Mo-Sci Corporation GL 1709 Viscous Glass Seal
Categories: Ceramic; Glass

Material Notes: Viscous glass seals bond to metals and ceramics, but resist crystallization and operate in a viscous state at SOFC operating temperatures. Viscous seals reduce the risk of catastrophic seal failure through viscous healing of cracks if they form during thermal cycling. Applications: To seal ceramics and metals.
