Johnson Matthey Yara 58-Y1 N2O Abatement Catalyst
Categories: Ceramic

Material Notes: Odorless solid pellets, 9 x 9 mm. During the manufacture of Nitric Acid, significant quantities of pollutants are released into the atmosphere. One of the principal pollutants is the greenhouse gas nitrous oxide (N2O), one ton of which has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) equivalent to 310 tons of carbon dioxide. Johnson Matthey has been supplying catalytic gauzes to the industry for almost 100 years and during this time has built up a wealth of experience in plant operations. Johnson Matthey is the sole marketing agent for Yara's 58-Y1 catalyst.
