Material Notes: Homopolymer with Antistat, ESCR Additives

Applications: For general purpose injection molding applications such as closures.

Formolene 4181R is a low viscosity, highly isotactic polypropylene homopolymer designed for various injection molded applications such as closures. It contains a unique combination of stabilizers which give it excellent processability with good stiffness, environmental stress crack resistance, heat performance and minimal odor and taste. Formolene 4181R contains antistat but no nucleation.

Meets all requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles intended for direct food contact.

Specimens were injection molded according to the conditions specified in ASTM D4101.
