Kennametal Stellite Deloro® 40G
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Nickel Alloy; Superalloy

Material Notes: Nickel base. Good combination of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, machinability, and repairability. Machined with tungsten carbide tools, using slow speeds and light feeds. Finish grinding achieved with vitrified silicon carbine wheels. Applications include bottle making mold components such as neck rings, half bushings, and die inserts, also used for sealing faces in values in both the oil and nuclear industries. Normally resistant to atmospheric, steams salt water and salt spray corrosion. Excellent oxidation resistance up to melting range. Satisfactory performance in many organic acids but high corrosion rates observed in hot, strong inorganic acids. Highly resistant to semi-molten glass. Normally used in the as-cast condition. Data provided by the manufacturer, Deloro Stellite Inc.

Product of former Deloro Stellite Inc.
