Description: AVIMID® RB is a high temperature, 644°F (340°C) Tg* thermoset polyimide resin with wet service capability to more than 530°F (277°C) and dry service capability of 600°F (316°C). AVIMID RB has excellent thermal oxidative stability and resistance to aircraft fluids. AVIMID RB was formulated for prepreg autoclave vacuum bag processing, but can be successfully compression molded both as a prepreg and in dry forms as neat resin or chopped-fiber molding compound. Unidirectional tape and woven prepreg of AVIMID RB will retain their tack and drape for 14 days at 70°F (21°C). Standard autoclave or compression molding processes, to a final temperature of 680°F (360°C) will result in full Tg development/cure with no need for post-cure treatment. AVIMID RB can be solution impregnated on a variety of fibers and fabrics. Features & Benefits: - High Tg, 644°F (340°C)*
