Formerly Silvaloy® A30. Silvaloy A30 does not contain cadmium and is often used as an alternate to cadmium containing alloys when the brazed assembly comes in contact with food or dairy products. Its slightly higher melt temperature provides improved mechanical strengths when exposed to elevated temperatures. It is used extensively in joining copper, brass, nickel, silvers, and ferrous alloys. Typical applications are the joining of ferrous, nonferrous, and dissimilar metals and alloys with close joint clearances.Information provided by Lucas-Milhaupt Warwick, LLC (formerly Wolverine Joining Technologies). |
