Material Notes:	Description: Powder Binder for Glass Mat General Information: COIM has developed a range of polyesters for the treatment of glass fiber. These polyesters come in powder and emulsion form and are collectively known as FILCO®. The products in the FILCO® line serve to size glass fiber, to optimize the mechanical characteristics of the fiber, or to bind the fibers for the production of mat. Typical Physical and Chemical Characteristics: Filco 661 FPG 005 is a bisphenolic unsaturated polyester resin in powder form very high molecular weight very quickly soluble in styrene very high binding power for glass fibers in "hot melt" operating conditions high degree of compatibility with unsaturated polyester matrices Applications: Filco 661 FPG 005 main applications: styrene soluble binder for chopped strand mat and continuous filament mat binder for perform Information provided by P.A.T.
