Material Notes: Compimide® TM124 (2,2'-Bis(3-allyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propane, also known as o,o'-diallylbisphenol A, CAS 1745-89-7) is a co-monomer designed as a toughening modifier for the use with bismaleimide building blocks or with bismaleimide formulated resins to form tough and temperature resistant polymer networks. When formulated with bismaleimides, Compimide® TM124 provides thermosets with high glass transition temperatures. For instance, cured formulations with Compimide® buildings blocks and/or resins show Tg in the range of 275–285°C.
