Material Notes: SKYGREEN® S2008 is a glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate (PETG) with excellent clarity and processability that makes it an attractive solution for versatile end-use applications. S2008 meets the ISO 10993-1 guidelines and USP Class VI biocompatibility requirements. (ISO 10993-1 guidelines include 10993-3 genotoxicity, 10993-4 blood compatibility, 10993-5 cytotoxicty, 10993-6 muscle graft, 10993-10 sensitivity/stimulation, 10993-11 acute systemic toxicity, and Amman chronic systemic toxicity.) It has excellent optical/physical properties stability even after sterilization, satisfying the test requirements described in ISO 11607-1. S2008 meets the requirements for food contact materials in Korea, the US, Europe, China, and Japan.
