LyondellBasell Hifax CA 138 A Thermoplastic Polyolefin
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyolefin

Material Notes: Hifax polypropylene resins based on the Catalloy process are used in applications such as building and construction (e.g., single-ply roofing), industrial applications (e.g., wire and cable), and automotive industries. Hifax priovides good processability, excellent impact resistance, a broad range of stiffness from very soft to rigid products, high temperature resistance and low linear coefficient of thermal expansion.

Hifax CA 138 A is a reactor TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) manufactured using the LyondellBasell's proprietary Catalloy process technology. This grade is suitable for use in compounds as impact modifier, to give excellent processability whilst maintaining optimum mechanical properties. The grade is available in natural pellet form.

Applications: Automotive Flooring, Exterior Automotive Applications, Impact Modification, Interior Automotive Applications, Polymer Modifier, Soft Profile & Sheets, Soft Touch Applications.
