| Product description: SILRES® BS 280 is a solvent-free silicone concentrate based on silane/siloxane that is dilutable with organic solvents. Diluted solutions of SILRES® BS 280 are high quality water repellents for impregnating mineral building materials, especially silicate free natural stones like limestone or gypsum. SILRES® BS 280 develops its water repellent effect after application to construction materials as a result of a reaction with atmospheric humidity. Application: SILRES® BS 280 is particularly recommended for the conservation of monuments and the restoration of natural stone buildings thanks to its all-round effectiveness and excellent alkali resistance.
