Material Notes: Product description: Grilon XE 5030 is a heat stabilized, flame retardant and self-extinguishing injection molding grade on the basis of PA6-PA66-alloy. Grilon XE 5030 features the following main properties:
  • Flame retardant system free of halogen compounds and elementary phosphorus
  • UL 94 V-0 down to 0.8 mm thickness
  • High toughness
  • Good mechanical properties
RoHS: Grilon XE 5030 complies with the regulations acc. RoHS (2002/95/EC, Restriction of Hazardous Substances).

WEEE: Parts made of Grilon XE 5030 are not affected by the demands for “selective recycling” acc. Guideline 2002/96/EC for Electro and Electronic Appliance. Grilon XE 5030 was developed for manufacturing of parts in the field of electric and electronic equipment such as fuses, strips, cable binders, plug-in terminal strips, and coil former bobbins.
