SYNTHOS Kralex® 1501 Styrene Butadiene Rubber
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes: KRALEX® 1501 is a standard grade of styrene butadiene rubber. It is produced by a technology of cold emulsion polymerization based on soaps of rosin acids and contains 23.5% of chemically bonded styrene. It is coagulated by a system of acid and organic coagulant, does not contain extender oil and is stabilized by a non-staining antioxidant.

KRALEX® 1501 is appropriate for rubber compounds used in the production of floor coverings, bicycle tires, footwear, children toys, cables, hosepipes and various rubber articles having dark color shades.
It is approved for the production of rubber articles coming into contact with foods. The producer of these articles, however, is responsible for any decision about the suitability of the final product for predicted usage and for the compliance with specific requirements for individual cases.
