C.O.I.M. LARIPUR® LPR6515 Plasticized Ester Polyurethane
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyester, TP; Polyurethane, TP; Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPUR), Polyester Grade

Material Notes: Description: The products of the LARIPUR® line are thermoplastic polyurethanes. These products combine the technology of thermoplastic products with the features of polyurethanes:
  • Excellent abrasion resistance
  • Great flexibility with constancy at temperature variations
  • Good compression resistance
  • Good water and light resistance
  • Good resistance to oils, fats and to many types of solvents

Series 15 and 19 Plasticized Ester: These products are esters containing a small amount of a low migrating plasticizer. They are soft grade TPU mainly developed for the footwear industry. These two series of LARIPUR® combine the properties of polyurethane with those of rubber.
Despite their low hardness, they exhibit fast processing cycles. Products belonging to Series 18 are fully transparent while those of Series 15 are opaque. Both exhibit a very good adhesion to most two component PU systems without any pre-treatment.
