Material Notes: The film extrusion grade Bio-Flex® F1138 is certified compostable according to EN 13432 and has been especially designed for the production of bags. The improved material characteristics, especially the increased tear resistance, allow reducing the thickness of the bags: It is possible to realize thicknesses down to 10µ. Shopping bags made from Bio-Flex® F 1138 are resilient enough to be reused several times, finally they can be used as a waste bag for organic waste collection. Biodegradable and compostable compound for film extrusion, certified according to EN 13432 with a maximum thickness of 60 µm. Used in applications such as T-shirt bags and waste bags.
