ChevronTexaco ISO 32 Machine Oil R&O LVI
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Features

Chevron Machine Oil R&O LVI is a superior quality naphthenic lubricating oil

It is formulated with highly refined base stock with rust inhibiting, antioxidant, and foam suppressant additives.

Applications

Chevron Machine Oil R&O LVI is formulated to give outstanding service in a wide variety of applications

The low pour properties of Chevron Machine Oil R&O LVI make it excellent for service in telemotor systems, hydraulic door checks, hydraulic jacks, railway signal mechanisms, and similar equipment operating intermittently, particularly in low ambient temperatures.

Chevron Machine Oil R&O LVI is recommended for:

  • air compressor cylinder lubrication, particularly when deposit formation is a problem due to higher than normal discharge air temperatures and/or oil feed rates are higher than generally recommended.
  • reciprocating air compressor cranckcases, in order to consolidate lubricant requirements
  • circulating oil systems of large compressors used in the manufacture of ammonia. Chevron Machine Oil R&O LVI will not react with the ammonia to form deleterious deposits in the system
  • low temperature applications, particularly in the power generation field, for use in gas turbine complexes
Do not use in high pressure systems in the vicinity of flames, sparks, and hot surfaces. Use only in well ventilated areas. Keep container closed.
