Material Notes: Product description: TEGO® Antifoam 2280 is an organic antifoam emulsion based on polyethers.

Application: TEGO® Antifoam 2280 destroys foam or prevents foam formation reliably in formulations produced with dispersing agents like cellulose or polyvinyl alcohols:

  • Polyvinyl acetat (PVAc)
  • Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate-Copolymers (EVAc)
  • S-PVC

      Properties / Benefits: TEGO® Antifoam 2280 might be used in all steps for the production of dispersions like reaction, blow down and stripping and for further formulating of the produced dispersions. TEGO® Antifoam 2280 outperforms conventional organic antifoams in several respects, in particular regarding dispersibility and dilution stability. Furthermore undesirable effects associated with other organic or silicone antifoams can be reduced or even eliminated.
