Material Notes: DuPont FEP meets the ASTM specification for FEP - Fluorocarbon Molding and Extrusion Materials under ASTM Designation D2116-95a. Has excellent chemical resistance, superior electrical properties, high service temperatures, outstanding low temperature toughness and unique flame resistance. Processed by conventional melt-extrusion and molding techniques. Resin Characteristics: Premium resin with enhanced ESCR. Lowest melt flow rate of 100 series. Uses: Films; chemical linings; large heat-shrinkable tubing for roll covers; high-stress applications

Chemours was formed from former DuPont performance chemicals businesses, including DuPont Fluoroproducts, in 2015. This specific product was discontinued prior to the formation of Chemours.
