Master Bond EP24 Fast Curing Two Component Epoxy System
Categories: Polymer; Adhesive; Thermoset; Epoxy; Epoxy Adhesive

Material Notes: Key Features:
  • Fast setting
  • Easy processing
  • Outstanding physical properties
  • Impressive dimensional stability
Product Description: Master Bond EP24 is a two component, room temperature curing epoxy adhesive, sealant, coating, and encapsulating system featuring outstanding physical strength properties, convenient handling and a relatively swift setting time. This easy to apply, moderate viscosity system has a forgiving one to one mix ratio by weight or by volume. EP24 bonds well to a variety of substrates including metals, composites, glass, ceramics and many rubbers and plastics. EP24 has an attractive curing profile as it has a longer working life than a 5 minute epoxy, but is faster setting than more standard two part epoxies. Additionally, it has commendable dimensional stability and very low shrinkage upon curing. It has good resistance to many chemicals including water, oils and fuels. It offers very fine electrical insulation properties. The service temperature range is -60°F to +250°F. EP24 is quite good in conjunction with thermal cycling as well as impact and shock. This multifaceted system can be used in aerospace, electronic, optical, OEM and repair applications, among others.

Product Advantages:

  • Convenient mixing: non-critical, one to one mix ratio by weight or volume.
  • Moderate viscosity; very easy to apply.
  • Low shrinkage upon curing; noteworthy dimensional Stability
  • Dependable electrical insulation properties
  • Good balance of open time and handling time
  • Proficient adhesive, bonds well to a wide variety of substrates
